no comments. its Singapore's Media Development Authority.

It's a wrap! *clap clap

Hi all!
I am back with a punCH! I am going to rant tonight! its 3.48am now. hah! but i felt that I have to blog tonight. yup. so here it is.

Firstly! I am done with all exams in UNI! no more exams at the undergrad level! *say YEAH! for jae! I can't help but feel a sense of helplessness and yet a bit of excitement as I wrote my last paper and take my first few steps into the wicked world. I am sure all you out there would feel or have felt the same. Well, my much awaited break was interupted though...

I had to do a film project for Shah, the up and coming suria(Singapore's TV12) celebrity. haha. Well. to those who genuinely know me, I helped him without any excuses. *hehe. Well. Its a myriad of emoptions for me. I had to remember the lines in like less than half a day (I am already not good at remembering stuff;as some of you might know) the shoot overran and went on for such a long time. but well, it made me understand the importance of homework and also professionalism.(thanks darling* 'Hi stranger' :P) I seriously learnt alot on the set and from my co-actress. (it helps that shes cute too lah, duh) but a continuos 7 hour(till 2am) and another 13 hour with 3 hour break(till 2am too), work cycle in a span of two days is really taxing on me and more so on the crew. I feel apart from being schoolmates, we shouold try to be as professional as possible. most were. some need a wee bit of learning. virtues like this i feel can be nurtured. so theres alot to learn. Alot for me. Realism aside, i felt there are indeed some differences between education systems. or maybe its just work culture. i dunno. maybe next time i will find out. but anyway to them team! I think you guys did a great job and deserve a pat on the back. thanks for tolerating my mistakes. (OOOps)

"Oh darling. you're sweet." she made me realise why I am a sucker for certain types of girls. thanks for the last shot too. I found some closure from u. thanks. honestly, I felt so much better. Now I really know what I need. hah!

NExt! I have this burst of energy to write this down. Jook gave us a offer that we would have turned down but, it was eventually signed and sealed. The stand was firm from tammy. Very firm. But this leads me to another revelation.

Superclubs will remain as superclubs as they have a set of protocol that retains their professionalism(as evident from my first hand experience). Chin Chong places will always remain as chin chong places as they lack the certain marketing perspective or should i say professional code that superclubs have and maintain. carry on what you do; and you would turn out the same like what the previous clubs did (engage yourselves in melbourne shuffling perhaps).

Sorry for my bitching. Jae is after all, quite a seasoned events/party organiser and been in that circle for quite some time. But anyway this is just my rants.

Thats all I have to say.

*ANYWAY A FEW MORE THINGS!
to justin(dunno if i got your name right)and that bitch who both seem too drunk to know what is a size 32 waist size is and mistake it as 28. please go and train your alcohol tolerance.(come to me when you can beat me, if you cant fucking hold your liquor. drink responsibly. dont be a disgrace to yourself and your friends) and dont mistake your fucking 3 inch for a 6. oh. and even if Taboo has an anniversary party today. you dont need to tell me. you fucking dont even know who Addie is. dont come and try to play punk with me when i havent slept for a day. sometimes trying to be cool is not good for you when you dont know the person. stop disgracing yourself. lets hope you are not rich. cos if you are, well.... you are such a stereotype. *HAH!

being ahead.

First RNB hip hop. then now...

oh how u hate being the firsts that love it and the rest of the world that follows suit.
to the others that used to diss house and trance. HAH! diss back!

but i would hate to see house/trance/electronica go manistream here. more and more people are catching on the wave. if u r thinking of what this genre is... well... if u dont like it dun bother polluting the pool. go back to ur own grounds. u'll like it better there.

well. psy-trance isnt catching up yet. but soon. maybe 4 years? haha.

WE (L) HOUSE :P

sorry, but cant help but feel ahead. only because of the past.

Crystal Method's great.

Hide and Seek - Imogen Heap

Thanks sus. intro me this song. hah.

where are we?
what the hell is going on?
the dust has only just begun to fall
crop circles in the carpet
sinking feeling

spin me round again
and rub my eyes,
this can't be happening
when busy streets a mess with people
would stop to hold their heads - heavy

hide and seek
trains and sewing machines
all those years
they were here first

oily marks appear on walls
where pleasure moments hung before the takeover,
the sweeping insensitivity of this still life

hide and seek
trains and sewing machines (oh, you won't catch me around here)
blood and tears (hearts)
they were here first

Mmmm whacha say,
Mmmm that you only meant well?
well of course you did
Mmmm whacha say,
Mmmm that its all for the best?
of course it is
Mmmm whacha say?
Mmmm that it's just what we need
you decided this
Mmmm whacha say?
Mmmm what did she say?

ransom notes keep falling out your mouth
mid-sweet talk, newspaper word cut outs
speak no feeling no i don't believe you
you don't care a bit,
you don't care a bit

(hide and seek)
ransom notes keep falling out your mouth
mid-sweet talk, newspaper word cut outs

(hide and seek)
speak no feeling no i don't believe you
you don't care a bit,
you don't care a (you don't care a) bit

(hide and seek)
oh no, you don't care a bit
oh no, you don't care a bit

(hide and seek)
oh no, you don't care a bit
you don't care a bit
you don't care a bit

quiet charms of alt people

its been a long time since i last chatted with someone for so long. hmmm.
quiet charms.

i wouldn't know. maybe i will. I dont know.

closure

I found closure when i knew that Geraldine was doing great after I left. I still couldn't hold back my grief although I only knew her for such a short time compared to the others at the memorial.

Geraldine has a big heart. She passed with a bigger one. I vaguely remember her telling me that she had a heart condition when we were discussing about the horse riding event that she went with the SSA.

GOD BLESS Geraldine. may you find peace.

life is really short.

in memory of Geraldine.

life is really short. i knew geraldine on exchange in brissy.
time with her was good as she was an old student that is starting afresh at QUT.
She was pursuing her degree in film production.

her mum broke the news to me this afternoon. I was shocked. seriously. if i am not wrong, she was 29 when i knew her. she stayed at Unilodge of QUT and came over to rochester once to look at my place. we ate at the malaysian food stall a few times too. She's always the inquisitive student in the video production class as well.
She had big plans after finishing her degree. she wanted to form a small production house in sg.

she left us last week.

life is really short. I am regreting that i never took the time to contact her after i came back to singapore. I did not have her msn and i didnt have her singapore number. I always thought that i would see her again when she comes back to singapore. like how i meet everyone when i see them on the streets in sg. pple, please make an effort to try to get back to friends u haven't met for a long time. or try to make efforts to patch things up between people that u have bad blood with. dont leave things hanging. life is to short to live with baggages.

I shall start with mine.

you will always be remembered.

Jae

881

Alright. I know I am slow to catc 881 only now. but hey, or the third time in 24 years the whole family watched a movie in the cinemas together! I am extremely happy that both the two old ones enjoyed the movie. as usual they were amused by the hokkien script. haha. and so was I.

Anyway 881 is definitely the best excuse to bring your parents out for movies. (If you haven't been doing so in your last 10 years.) the reason being they will be able to relate to it. in more ways than one. though royston didnt exactly represent the entire generation of the baby boomers living in Singapore. but it sure did show the hokkien community. The Tee Gong (sky god) was one of the things in 881 that was extremely close to what is and was happening in hokkien families. Maybe cos royston himself is a tan, a hokkien. thats why so much of the movie is hokkien oriented. well maybe Jae should do a cantonese version of the heartlanders.

anyway back to the movie. the cuts that royston used were amazingly nostalgic to his last number ,, "15". the anthems that were spewed by mindee and yann yann sounded like the ah beng anthems of 15 as well. but nontheless it was entertaining.

although I was at the 3rd row from the front, it is still an enjoyable movie. Best movie to bring your baby boomers friends to.

Wicked Rating: 4 / 5
